YouTube Channel
I have been making videos since my junior year in high school, when i ran the a/v department and produced the morning announcement television "show" . I have been shooting tattoos that I finish up and then editing them and putting music that I write at my home studio over them. Really fun way to express myself and my work. 2012 A Year Of Change.
2012. The year many people believe that we will meet our demise. I am, and have been, keeping my mind in a much more positive place. I believe in the law of attraction, and so far this year is proving to me, at least that you reap what you sow. It has been a beautiful year, shedding, old starting new. I feel healthier and happier than I have in I honestly cannot remember. Here is a few things that have come my way that have helped me smile.
First and foremost, my son Griffen graduated kindergarten. I am a proud father for sure! Over the winter break in between Christmas and New Years I spent roughly 36 hours at his school painting a mural on the entrance archway to Maple Street School in Easthampton. Lots of fun, and a very rewarding feeling to give a gift that will last generations, hopefully.
My friend and mentor Tim Brewer has opened a shop called Blueprint Gallery in Hadley Ma. He has been thinking about it for years, and we had been actively looking for over a year. A lot of ups and downs, almost walking away from the idea but through willpower and determination we made it happen. Tim found a place in Hadley after we were fairly close on 2 other spots. Construction took about 5 weeks. Painting and putting it together a few weeks, and BOOM we were open for business!! I am beyond excited to have a place to work side by side with a very motivated and inspirational human being. We are going to be doing art shows every month. On the personal level, I have found a beautiful lady and fallen in love. Things are beautiful, healthy, open, communicative. Really fills my life with happiness. Going to lots of shows, seeing some amazing music, including Fiona Apple, The Hold Steady, The Promise Ring, and Baroness. Cooking great food, learning more about that. Ya know, being a gentleman.
Them There ghosts recorded a 6 song ep in February. We had a few months of downtime but finally got it mastered by our good friend Alan Evans. We are working on duplication and digital release. check www.themthereghosts.com
So thats pretty much it for a quick up to date in the life and times of Ben Reigle.
